Rockies troll Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson drama with hilarious post after 21-0 loss

The Colorado Rockies took a page out Jordon Hudson’s book when it came to coping with their most recent embarrassing loss. The Rockies’ loss to the Padres on Saturday resembled that of a dominant football shutout: 21-0.The loss put Colorado at 6-33 on the season, a far-and-away MLB worst. With nothing else to say after such an abysmal showing, Colorado’s social media team quoted Hudson in a post, saying, “We’re not talking about this” over a photo of Hudson during boyfriend Bill Belichick’s disastrous “CBS Sunday Morning” interview. The Rockies are of course, referencing Hudson’s infamous viral moment where she crashed Belichick’s interview and cut off a question asking about how the couple met.Much like the Rockies, Hudson has been the butt of many jokes in recent weeks.
The Rockies’ poor play on the field has done them in for their criticism, while the 24-year-old Hudson’s relationship with the 73-year-old UNC head football coach has also made headlines. The Rockies likely got some social media points for the post, but it won’t mask their issues completely. They followed up the 21-0 thumping with a 9-3 win over the Padres on Sunday — but neither the win nor the hilarious trolling on X could save the jobs of manager Bud Black and bench coach Mike Redmond as both were fired after the victory. The Rockies have been the laughing stock of MLB this season, and have been bottom feeders for several years now.Colorado hasn’t made the playoffs since 2018 and hasn’t topped 74 wins in any of the seasons since then.
Black had managed the team since 2017.Belichick spent his Sunday supporting Hudson at the Miss Maine USA pageant, in which she finished third.Hudson and the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach were seen leaving holding hands after it was over.
