Self-proclaimed bachelor Kevin Costner reveals what he misses most over the holidays

The holidays are on the horizon.However, for Kevin Costner, this year will look a bit different following his divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.The actor, 70, shares kids Cayden, 18, Hayes, 16, and Grace, 15, with Baumgartner, 51, who recently remarried.
He is also dad to Annie, 41, Lily, 39, and Joe, 37, with ex-wife Cindy Silva and Liam, 28, with ex Bridget Rooney.“I think when they were younger, there were things that were more repetitive,” Costner told Us Weekly.“Now you’re just fighting to get them home from college or fight.
… You know what I mean, just getting together.So, I do the best I can to make it as warm as I can.”The “Waterworld” star did confess that holiday traditions look a bit different than when he was married.
“And I’m a bachelor, so I kind of miss those, like, really cute things to do, you know, so I have to work especially hard to make sure there’s that stuff that they think about and remember,” Costner explained.Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner on May 1, 2023, after 18 years of marriage and listed her date of separation from the A-lister as April 11.“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr.
Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” a rep for Costner said in a statement at the time.“We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”The exes reached a settlement in September 2023.
Costner and Baumgartner agreed to joint custody of their kids.The Oscar winner was also ordered to pay the designer more than $63,000 a month in child support.
