“We’ve had more subtractions in the pitching area.We have to make sure we understand that market, but we’re not going to take ourselves out of any other market, either.”The Blue Jays were two outs from capturing the World Series in Game 7 with the Dodgers before closer Jeff Hoffman, who had an up-and-down season, gave up a game-tying home run to Miguel Rojas.According to Rosenthal, the Yankees and Tigers are other teams with potential interest in Diaz, who is expected to cash in on the heels of a season in which he pitched to a 1.63 ERA in 62 appearances with 28 saves in 31 chances.“Just get the best deal for me and my family,” the 31-year-old said of his goal Thursday.
