Simon Green has returned to the studio for new Bonobo album Distance in Static, the DJ/producer’s follow-up to 2022’s Fragments.Out September 11 via Ninja Tune, the record features vocal turns from Arooj Aftab, Joy Crookes, Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Hundred Waters’ Nicole Miglis, and more.
Leading the LP is “Me and You,” a staple of his recent club sets.Green will also unveil a new live show at a string of North American dates kicking off in November; check out that song and the tour itinerary below.Of the album title, Green said in a press release, “I think the front end of what I’ve done has now become something that’s referential to younger people.
