I swore by the Apple Watch 10, but this newer smartwatch is less expensive

As with any Apple product, there comes a time when you start to wonder: Is it time for an upgrade?Originally, I thought my Apple Watch Series 10 was the exception.I sweated, swam and slept in my Series 10 for months and never wanted to take it off.
It’s simple to use, especially for anyone already in the Apple ecosystem, and it’s helped me track everything from my step count and workouts to sleep quality.Plus, the fact that it reminds me to take the occasional deep breath and respond to my mom’s texts.
In that sense, it’s basically my personal assistant.I love how easy it is to use, even for someone like myself who isn’t particularly tech-savvy.
But now that the Apple Watch Series 11, the next-generation model, is on sale for $100 off ahead of Amazon Prime Day (remember to mark your calendars for June 23 to 26), I’ve found myself considering an upgrade.Yes, that means it’s even cheaper than it’s predessecor on Amazon.
And that’s not the only reason it might be worth it.The newer Apple Watch includes all the popular health features from before, including sleep tracking, workout tracking and blood oxygen monitoring.
But, the Series 11 also offers two key upgrades that solve a couple of minor qualms I have with my Series 10.The next-generation watch offers a major hardware upgrade, featuring a tough, scratch-resistant display that’s twice as durable as the previous generation.As a mom, my technology isn’t exactly safe from the occasional drop, bump or toss across the room.
