It’s no surprise given that Hermès’ Birkin handbags often double in value in as little as five years, and are even called a better investment than gold, according to experts.Also, the bags are notoriously hard to buy directly from Hermès, and usually appreciate in value over time due to demand.“Acquiring any of these bags today at an Hermès store is quite complicated,” Tonello explained.
