15-year-old boy knifed in the chest and left for dead just blocks from Queens high school campus

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest just blocks from a Queens high school campus Wednesday, cops said. The teen was knifed at the corner of Baisley and Guy R.Brewer boulevards in South Jamaica at around 8:10 a.m.

and rushed to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said. The broad-daylight knifing unfolded a short walk from the August Martin High School campus, which is also home to the Voyages Preparatory High School South Queens and New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Sciences IV.Cops could not confirm whether the boy was on his way to school when he was attacked. Three unidentified suspects fled the scene, and no arrests had been made by the late afternoon, cops said.The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation....
