What Dave Portnoy finds most shocking about the Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson situation

Dave Portnoy called Bill Belichick’s current situation “shocking” and said he feels the whole thing is like “living in a bizarro world.”Speaking on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show, the Barstool Sports founder described his surprise at how things have played out after Belichick’s awkward interview on “CBS Sunday Morning,” which was highlighted by his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson interrupting a question about the beginnings of their relationship. Since the interview aired over the weekend, Hudson’s presence has come into question, and it has put the future Hall of Fame coach in the spotlight off of the field. “It’s just it’s such a juxtaposition of a guy who seemingly had no media savvy, but was always just straightforward, no time for the media, now having his life run by a [24-year-old].It certainly is eye-opening for a guy like me,” Portnoy said during the appearance. Hudson has pushed back on the criticism she’s received in the wake of the interview, posting a blistering email that Belichick sent out on April 10 about the first round of media regarding his new book, “The Art of Winning.” Belichick put out a statement Wednesday through the University of North Carolina, where he took over as the head football coach in December. The statement alleged that CBS News used “selective editing” to push a “false narrative” about Hudson and defended her over interruptions during the interview. Portnoy, however, claimed he wasn’t entirely convinced that the statement was free of Hudson’s influence. “In my years following Bill Belichick, I would say my knowledge of him, there’s roughly 0 percent chance he wrote that.
