Clarke Schmidt scratched from Saturday start in latest Yankees injury worry

Clarke Schmidt has been scratched from his scheduled start Saturday with side soreness that he does not believe is serious. The righty said he expects to pitch Tuesday against the Padres and does not believe an injured list stint will be required.Schmidt has been throwing through a bit of soreness felt after reaching 90 pitches for the first time this season in his outing Sunday.
