Jannik Sinner clarifies relationship status after photos with model surface

Jannik Sinner is in his singles era.Speaking to reporters Monday after completing a three-month doping ban ahead of the Italian Open, the three-time Grand Slam champion — who was involved with fellow tennis pro Anna Kalinskaya in 2024 — said he is “not in a relationship” after being linked to Russian model Lara Leito in April.“I was very surprised to see some pictures, which, you know, nothing serious … I’m not in a relationship,” Sinner said, as covered by People.

“So, whoever is asking, that’s it.It’s all good.”The comments from Sinner, 23, come after Italian publication Chi Magazine published snaps of the reigning U.S.

Open victor with Leito.Chi reported last month that as the Italian athlete trained at the Monte Carlo Country Club, Leito was in the stands.Leito, who boasts more than 350,000 followers on Instagram, previously dated Oscar winner Adrien Brody, according to reports.Sinner, currently the top-ranked player in the world, previously confirmed his relationship with Kalinskaya, 26, in May 2024 during the French Open.“I don’t like to talk about my private life much, but yes, Anna and I are dating,” he said at the time.Sinner and Kalinskaya were photographed kissing last September after his U.S.Open triumph against American Taylor Fritz.He last competed at the Australian Open in January, defeating Germany’s Alexander Zverev in straight sets in the final, to claim back-to-back grand slam titles Down Under.
