Tyrese Haliburtons girlfriend gushes over Pacers star after wild game-winning shot

Life is sweet for Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton.The two-time NBA All-Star celebrated with his girlfriend, Jade Jones, after he hit a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining to give the Pacers a 120-119 victory over the Cavaliers and a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinals series Tuesday night.The Pacers posted a video of the couple sharing a hug as Haliburton walked off of the court.Jones was seen jumping up and down and cheering while sporting a custom Pacers varsity jacket.Taking to her Instagram Story, Jones gushed over Haliburton in a series of celebratory posts.

“I know that’s right,” Jones wrote with a blushing face emoji, including the video of their sweet embrace.“GAME WINNER SAY WHAAAAAT,” she continued.

Another post featured an image of Haliburton celebrating on the court with the caption, “GAME TIME.” The couple began dating while they were students at Iowa State, where Haliburton played college basketball and Jones was a cheerleader.Haliburton and Jones celebrated six years together in April.The Pacers star delivered when it mattered most in Game 2.Indiana guard Andrew Nembhard stole an inbounds pass from Cleveland’s Max Strus with 27.5 seconds remaining in a three-point game before Haliburton drove inside and was fouled by Cavs guard Ty Jerome.Haliburton hit the first free throw to cut the deficit to 119-117, before missing the second and grabbing an offensive rebound.Haliburton dribbled to the top of the key and, with 1.1 seconds remaining, he made the step-back, game-winning 3-pointer to lift the Pacers to a 120-119 lead to steal Game 2 in Cleveland.Haliburton has been clutch for Indiana so far in their playoff run.
