Former “Today” co-host Hoda Kotb is on the “list” of candidates to replace NBC daytime talk show host Kelly Clarkson – paving the way for a possible comeback just months after her surprise exit, The Post has learned.Kotb, who stunned fans when she stepped down in January, is firmly on the network’s radar as rumors swirl that Clarkson wants to leave her eponymous show, according to an NBC insider.“There’s a long list of names and Hoda is part of that list,” said the source.“NBC never wanted Hoda to leave.

The question is would Hoda want to do it?”Clarkson’s contract is up next year.It is not clear when Kotb or another replacement would take over the show should the pop singer decide to walk away.

Meanwhile, the original “American Idol” winner is embarking on a big year for her music career.She is releasing a ninth album in June under her own label before launching a new Las Vegas residency from July 4 to Aug.16, with additional shows from Nov.
