Scott Baios daughter commits to Providence golf team

Actor Scott Baio had a “proud dad moment” as his daughter Bailey committed to Providence College to play Division I golf this week.Scott and Bailey, a junior golfer at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.and goes by the nickname “BB,” both shared the news on social media.“Proud dad moment.
Division 1 in The Big East Conference,” Scott, 64, wrote Tuesday on X, including a photo of Providence College and 17-year-old Bailey wearing her IMG uniform.The “Happy Days” alum shared another photo of Bailey pointing to a sign that read, “Welcome to Friartown” at the airport.
“This has been years in the making,” Bailey, who is in the graduating class of 2026, wrote on her Instagram.“I give thanks to God and my parents first and foremost.”Bailey went on to thank her coaches and the brands that she served as a junior ambassador, including Lohla Sport and In-N-Out Burger.
She also thanked the “coaches and other colleges that made me an offer or for those who showed interest in me,” but did not elaborate further.Scott, who’s a supporter of Donald Trump, replied to someone on X, who said Bailey will be “golfing with Trump in no time … Kai Trump, too,” referring to the president’s 17-year-old granddaughter, who as committed to play at the University of Miami.“They are both class of 2026, however, they will play on different conferences,” Baio responded.Bailey is a big fan of Kai.
In March, Bailey posted a video as an open letter to Kai after she was apparently bullied at a junior girls’ golf event, and told her that she respects her and has her back.Bailey also said she would love to play golf with Kai, and asked her followers on Instagram to help spread the video so that Kai would see it.
