Fans are lovin’ the latest McDonald’s menu updates.The fast-food giant announced plans to add select drinks from its beverage-forward concept CosMc’s to regular menus later this year.During an earnings call on Tuesday, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said that the company gained “interesting learnings” about the rollout of the wacky new concept that launched in Illinois in late 2023.While he didn’t delve into many details, he noted that the Golden Arches will be working with individual franchisees to test some of the CosMc’s exclusive beverages on standard menus.“It’s part of why we set up beverages as one of our key three category structures — just because of the opportunity that we saw there,” the Golden Arches exec said.Kempczinski also didn’t share the details of the menu expansion, but he said McDonald’s is “committed to going after beverages.”It’s unclear exactly which beverages will be added to the regular McD’s menus, but popular food Instagram account @snackbetch shared some of the possibilities, which included:According to a press release from January, some of the best sellers at CosMc’s include the Island Pick Me Up Punch, Churro Cold Brew Frappe and the Sour Energy Burst — making these highly potential options for McDonald’s lovers to get to experience.The Fruity Popping Boba was the most popular drink customization, so it’s no surprise fans are already begging for it at their local McDonald’s.“Finally, tasty menu items for the USA!!
