Livvy Dunne takes in Paul Skenes Citi Field debut as Pirates battle Mets

Olivia “Livvy” Dunne joined her fellow Sports Illustrated models at Citi Field on Monday night as the Pirates faced the Mets, with Dunne’s beau Paul Skenes on the hill for Pittsburgh.The former LSU gymnast didn’t throw out the first pitch – the honor was left to Xandra Pohl, Camille Kostek and Ellie Thumann – but MLB shared a short video of Dunne on the field before the game. “Hey Livvy Dunne here, saying hi from Citi Field.Woohoo!” she said in the video. Dunne was wearing a backward Pirates hat while her fellow SI models sported customized Mets jerseys with their names on the back. The New Jersey native was spotted posing for a selfie with Kostek, Pohl and Thumann on the field before the three threw out the first pitch. Dunne stayed along the track and cheered them on as they stepped onto the field and threw to the awaiting Mark Vientos, Tyrone Taylor and Huascar Brazoban. The timing seemed to work out perfectly for Sports Illustrated with the release of their annual swimsuit edition slated for Tuesday, allowing for the women to be at Citi Field at the same time. Dunne was there, of course, to support the Pirates’ star pitcher Skenes, who also started Monday’s game. It was the reigning NL Rookie of the Year’s first career start at Citi Field.She appeared to be having a blast during her night out at the ballpark.Dunne was spotted dancing in a suite at Citi Field with a beverage in her hand while music blared over the stadium sound system.Skenes and Dunne have been dating since their days together as star athletes at LSU. Dunne had announced her retirement from gymnastics last month in a post on social media. The two were first linked in 2023. Monday began a three-game series between the Mets and Pirates at Citi Field before the Amazin’s face their crosstown rival, the Yankees, over the weekend in The Bronx. The Mets had entered Monday’s game having won four of their last six games and holding a 1 ½ game lead in the NL East over...
