Scottie Scheffler cruises to PGA Championship victory for third career major win

Scottie Scheffler added a new major to his collection in convincing fashion.The world’s top golfer cruised to his first PGA Championship with a six-shot win over three players tied at 6-under at Quail Hollow on Sunday.Scheffler, who also won the Masters in 2022 and 2024, shot 12-under par for the tournament.Jon Rahm, who found the water twice during the final round, finished at 4-under.Scheffler was arrested before round two of last year’s PGA Championship due to a traffic incident before all charges were dropped.
