Tyrese Haliburton offers Pacers playoff tickets to fan attacked by garbage-throwing Knicks supporters

The Indiana Pacers are supporting their own. After one Pacers fan was harassed outside Madison Square Garden following the Knicks’ elimination of the Celtics in six games and fans wildly celebrated on the streets of New York, that fan was tracked down by ESPN host Pat McAfee, and guard Tyrese Haliburton wants to give him the VIP treatment.“Pat told me he found you yesterday and called me and said I got to get on the show and talk to you myself,” Haliburton said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday.“I want to personally bring you and a plus one out here to come to Game 4 here in Indiana.
I’ll bring you guys out here.Put you guys up, give you guys seats to the game.
The Pacers, everyone in the organization wants to make sure to care of you.The whole team is excited to meet you; it’s all we’ve been talking about.
Everyone’s seen the video so we want to bring you out here.”The fan in question, identified as Hans Perez, is a firefighter and added that he’s hoping to make the event but may need to get someone to take his shift.“That’s awesome,” Perez said.“Thank you, Tyrese, man.
You are awesome. The team is awesome, I appreciate that.
Man, let’s go Pacers man.”Perez was nailed in the back of the head with a bag of garbage while walking away from a pack of wild Knicks fans.Piles of garbage hit him multiple times in the poor showing from Knicks fans as they followed him through the streets to heckle him. With the Pacers advancing to the conference finals, the Knicks will face Indiana in the playoffs for the second consecutive season. It’s the first time the Knicks have reached the Eastern Conference Finals since 2000....
