A 15-year-old boy was left clinging to life Monday after he was shot multiple times outside a public housing complex in Harlem, cops said.The eruption of gunfire happened around 2:10 p.m.on 5th Avenue near King Towers, a NYCHA property just blocks from Central Park, and is the latest violence to involve Big Apple youths in recent days.The teen suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body and was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in critical condition, police said.No arrest has been made and police did not immediately have a suspect description Monday night.The shooting comes as a rash of violence against teens and kids has rattled the city.A 7-year-old boy was shot and wounded in a Bronx home Sunday afternoon, though it wasn’t clear if he got hold of the weapon and accidently fired on himself.Last week, 16-year-old Evette Jeffrey, an innocent bystander, was fatally shot in the head near a Bronx schoolyard when she was caught in the crossfire of a gang-fueled shootout.Two teens have since been busted in the senseless slaying.The day after Jeffrey’s death, an 11-year-old boy was injured after a gunshot shattered a car window and broken glass cut the youngster.A 20-year-old man, who was driving the car with the youngster in the back, was shot in the left shoulder.
