I will use my office to protect everyone equally, without fear or favor.”Trimigliozzi, an 18-year veteran of the force who once earned accolades from the Secret Service, was escorted into a Riverhead courtroom in handcuffs, wearing a gray suit, and pleaded not guilty to the new charges Wednesday.In the first case, prosecutors said Trimigliozzi met a woman, Jane Doe #1, on a dating site and took her out near Patchogue in May 2021.After the date, he invited her into his car to talk, but once inside, he allegedly climbed into the passenger seat and began groping her.When she tried to flee, Trimigliozzi allegedly slammed the car door shut and used his body to block her from leaving.A year later, in June 2022, the cop raped a second woman, Jane Doe #2, after picking her up on his motorcycle and going on a date, prosecutors alleged.
