Fan at Red Sox game dumps milk all over their head in wild celebration

Got milk?One Red Sox fan had a gallon of it.Or at least he did Saturday until Jarren Duran homered to cut Boston’s deficit in half, 2-1, leading off the bottom of the first inning.That’s when the unexpected happened.After Duran touched home plate and the television cameras panned around rain-soaked Fenway Park to find celebrating fans, one dancing fan appeared with a jug of milk in his hand.He unscrewed the top to start chugging, right?Nope.Maybe the first clue should’ve been his Indianapolis 500 T-shirt, in a shade of green to match the Red Sox’s City Connect jerseys.The fan poured the milk on his head, with only a little getting in his mouth.There is a tradition dating back to 1936 of Indianapolis 500 winners chugging milk after their victory.It is typical that more ends up on their face than in their mouth.Two-time defending champion Josef Newgarden will race for a three-peat on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
