Terry Bradshaw slams Aaron Rodgers drawn-out Steelers courtship: Chew on bark

Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw didn’t hold back about his feelings on Aaron Rodgers possibly signing with Pittsburgh after an extended courtship.Rodgers still has not signed a deal with the Steelers despite all indications seeming to point to the union as the future Hall of Famer’s offseason saga has dragged on into OTAs. Steelers owner Art Rooney II said earlier this month that the organization would wait “a little longer” for Rodgers, but Bradshaw panned the idea of the ex-Packers and Jets QB coming to the Steel City. “That’s a joke.That to me is just a joke,” Bradshaw said during an appearance on 103.7 The Buzz.

“What are you gonna do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me? That guy needs to stay in California.Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”Rodgers is expected to ink a one-year deal with the Steelers, but nothing has officially materialized. The QB did appear to hint at playing for the Steelers recently during a Q&A event hosted by rapper Mike Stud when he was asked if he’d play for the Bears, to which he gave a coy response. “No, but I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip,” Rodgers reportedly said, according to NFL Network.
