Knicks fans attack Tyrese Haliburton doll outside MSG in social experiment gone wrong

Tyrese Haliburton was largely a non-factor for the Pacers in their Game 5 loss. But that didn’t mean rabid Knicks fans weren’t going to take their overall frustrations out on the Indiana star on Thursday night.Even if that meant destroying a doll representing him — featuring a photo of Haliburton’s head and a Pacers logo — outside the Garden.Video of fans attacking it circulated on X, as it showed the stomping in exuberance after the Knicks did their own pummeling of the Pacers, 111-94.Henry Wang said he was responsible for bringing the doll outside the World’s Most Famous Arena in what he called a “social experiment.” The experiment didn’t last long.“So I brought a stuffed Halliburton as a social experiment to see how long he would last outside Madison Square Garden because he’s currently the most hated man in New York City,” the 24-year-old told The Post.

He got jumped.They pantsed him.

“I gotta be better, and I will be better in Game 6,” Haliburton said.“I’ll watch the film and learn from it like I always do and be prepared for Game 6.”...
