Son, 9, saves pregnant mom who was hit by sudden traumatic seizures: Thats the definition of a hero

He’s the little man of the hour.A heroic nine-year-old boy in Ohio saved his pregnant mom — after she passed out and began seizing.Oliver Ware had just come home from school when he heard a “thump” and rushed to the bathroom to find his pregnant mother, Nikki, passed out on the floor.“I was panicking, moving her back and forth,” the third grader told WLWT.
“I was saying, ‘Mom, mom!’”“I was still just in disbelief.” The quick thinking kid, whose father Jeff was still at work, called his grandmother for help and then called the police.“My mom was in the restroom and she just passed out and I need your help!” he told the 911 operator.
The operator guided Oliver to conduct a breathing test and stayed by his mother’s side until paramedics arrived.“I was mostly thinking to myself, ‘I’ll do anything just to wake my mom up,’” Oliver remembered.
Paramedics arrived to the house shortly and rushed mom to the hospital where she gave birth to baby Riley just a few hours later.“Time is vital in a situation like that, for mother and for baby.
Had she kept having seizures, that takes away the oxygen from the baby,” registered nurse Taylor Sobe told WLWT.“Time is a huge factor in the outcome.”Dad is incredibly proud that his son stepped up and saved the day.
“He had to save momma and his sister. That’s what he did,” Jeff told WLWT.
“To me, that’s the definition of a hero.”Oliver is just happy to finally have a sibling....
