Jordyn Woods reflected Sunday on how the city of New York welcomed her and Knicks big man Karl-Anthony Towns with open arms after the team’s crushing playoff ouster to the Pacers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.Hours after Saturday’s season-ending loss, the 27-year-old model gushed over the team in an Instagram tribute, saying they “brought so much life to the city” as Towns’ first year in New York came to a heartbreaking end.“If there was anything to take away from this season, the take away should be is that the future is bright for this team and they should be damn proud of themselves,” Woods wrote, including snapshots of Towns throughout the season.“You guys brought so much life to the city and this has been some of the most exciting basketball I’ve ever watched.“Thank you New York for welcoming us with open arms!
