A massive wild elephant was busted raiding a convenience store in Thailand late at night — before making off with a bunch of snacks.The gigantic mammoth — known to locals as Plai Biang Lek — was caught on camera casually wandering into the store in Pak Chong, north of Bangkok, at about 3 a.m.

in search of food, a wild clip posted on social media shows.The elephant could be seen perusing the tiny aisles in front of shocked onlookers as his huge head brushed the ceiling.

After rifling through the snacks on offer, the elephant ended up guzzling down a stash of crispy rice crackers and eggs before slowly strolling back out again.Plai Biang Lek, who is known among locals, lives in the nearby Khao Yai National Park and often leaves the area to forage for food, the Khaosod English reported.“Locals are accustomed to seeing Plai Biang Lek passing by this particular store, but he has never before attempted to enter.

This time, however, Plai Biang Lek surprised and alarmed the residents and store owner by walking right inside,” the outlet noted.He was previously spotted raiding a restaurant back in 2023 while the owners were sleeping.
