Why Im ending my donations to US Jewish groups and seeking new leadership to protect US Jews

For decades, I’ve proudly supported Jewish organizations.I’ve written checks, attended galas and responded to fundraising calls from groups like the Anti-Defamation League.I did it because I believed in the mission: to safeguard the Jewish people, support Israel and protect our community from hatred.But today, I say with sadness: These organizations have failed us.

Kathyrn Wolf made the case as plain as could be in Sunday’s Post.That’s why I’ll be ending my donations to these groups and pushing for a new Jewish regime to emerge that I can support.Fact is, the rise of antisemitism in America isn’t theoretical.It’s happening now — on college campuses, in boardrooms, on the streets of Boulder and Washington, DC.Jewish students are harassed.

Synagogues are vandalized.The Jewish state is demonized while terrorist groups are celebrated.And where are our leaders? They’re overly silent, timid or worse: too afraid of offending progressive donors to speak the truth.For too long, we’ve put our faith and our dollars into institutions that refuse to adapt.Jewish Federations still pretend Jewish safety is a bipartisan, secular issue.The ADL wins headlines for its important documentation of antisemitism but won’t defend Jews exclusively and without at least some moral equivalence.This is not a partisan issue.

This is a survival issue: If you’re a Jew in America today, especially an openly Zionistic or religious one, your safety is far from assured.Nor are strongly worded press releases and DEI panels remotely close to the solution.We need new leadership.We need an organization that tells the truth, fights back hard and unapologetically takes sides.That says things others won’t, like: Radical Islam is a clear and present danger in America — and the left is often a part of the problem.Because not rocking the boat in the face of evil isn’t a virtue.
