Knicks get Jay Wright clarity in their head coach search

The Nova Knicks won’t get their old coach behind the bench in New York.Jay Wright is not a candidate to fill the Knicks’ head coaching vacancy, The Post’s Stefan Bondy reported Saturday.

President Leon Rose understands that Wright, who last coached in 2022 at Villanova, is happy in retirement.That leaves one name off the list for the Knicks as they seek to replace Tom Thibodeau after his firing earlier this week.
