Rising TikTok star Joshua Blackledge cause of death at 16 revealed

TikTok star Joshua Blackledge’s cause of death has been revealed nearly three months after he was found dead.The 16-year-old, who had boasted more than 1 million followers on the social media platform, died by suicide at his home in Newport, N.C., on March 18.Blackledge left behind a teddy bear, paper note and a picture at the scene, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.He was discovered by a family member.The teen died of a gunshot wound to the head.The social media star “exhibited behavioral changes” socially and academically in the months leading up to his tragic death, according to medical examiner documentsNo drug paraphernalia was present, the docs added.Blackledge was a junior at West Carteret High School in Morehead City, where he was heavily involved in wrestling and track, according to his obituary.“He had a passion for the outdoors and loved being around water, whether fishing or boating with friends.

He also had a love for cars and trucks,” the obit added.“At home, Joshua liked helping his mom with cooking, gardening, and yard work.He had an energetic spirit and was known for his entertaining nature, often impressing others with backflips.”Blackledge’s frequent video uploads often included his white BMW car, and most recently a new white truck.His girlfriend, Emmie Gillikin, was also often featured on his account.
