The NBA world was quick to react to Tyrese Haliburton’s injury.The Pacers star crumbled to the court with a right lower leg injury during the first quarter of the team’s Game 7 clash against the Thunder in the NBA Finals Sunday night in Oklahoma City.Haliburton’s father, John, was emotional and could be seen in the stands holding his head in his hands.
Haliburton had been dealing with a calf strain in his right leg, and the immediate fear after the non-contact injury was he suffered a torn Achilles.ESPN reported on the broadcast that John Haliburton confirmed it was an Achilles injury.“F–k!!!!!!!!” LeBron James posted on X, along with a prayer emoji.
