Pitch Perfect star Anna Camp responds to criticism of 18-year age gap with her girlfriend

A pitch perfect relationship.Anna Camp, 42, defended her romance with her girlfriend Jade Whipkey, 24, from the criticism of their 18-year age gap.“I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is far more mature than any of them,” the actress wrote in the comments section of a June 21 Instagram video that mentioned their age difference.

“We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything,” the “Pitch Perfect” star continued.Camp added: “Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I’m wishing everyone well especially this pride month.”Since soft-launching her relationship with Whipskey on social media last month, Camp has been facing backlash for dating someone nearly 20 years younger than her.
