Jay-Z disses Kanye West with lyric change during first performance with Beyonc in over 6 years

Revenge is best served in music.Jay-Z dissed his former friend Kanye West while joining Beyoncé onstage during her “Cowboy Carter” show in Paris on Sunday. The couple, who hadn’t performed together in over six years, sang “Crazy in Love” followed by “Drunk in Love” remixed with “Partition,” before Jay-Z, 55, performed his and West’s 2011 song “N—-s in Paris.”But instead of belting out the original lyrics “Just might let you meet Ye,” Jay-Z sang, “Just might let you meet Bey.”Jay-Z and West, 48, originally recorded “N—-s in Paris” for their collaborative album “Watch the Throne” album that topped the Billboard 200 after its release in August 2011.The rappers used to be good friends and Jay-Z even acted as West’s mentor early in his career.
