Dermot Mulroney files for divorce from wife Prima Apollinaare, requests spousal support

Dermot Mulroney has filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years.Mulroney, 61, filed the dissolution of marriage from Prima Apollinaare on Monday, June 23, in Los Angeles, according to court documents obtained by The Post, which he signed two days prior.The “Chicago Fire” star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, listing the date of separation as “to be determined.”While Mulroney asked for spousal support from the singer-songwriter, he requested joint legal and physical custody of their two minor children: daughters Sally, 15, and Mabel, 17.Mulroney not only requested that Apollinaare pay him spousal support, but he also asked that the court terminate its ability to award her any financial support from him, the divorce docs revealed.When it comes to the pair’s separate and community property, the “Shameless” actor asked that the court “confirm as separate property” certain “assets and debts” and “determine rights to community and quasi-community assets and debts.”Finally, the “My Best Friend’s Wedding” star requested that he and his estranged wife pay their own attorney’s fees and costs.While neither Mulroney nor Apollinaare has broken their silence on their surprising split, the “Strawberry” singer took to her Instagram Stories as the divorce news broke to promote her show in Los Angeles scheduled for tonight.
