Kate Hudson reveals why she was told to divorce parents Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson as a teen

Kate Hudson was almost famous under different circumstances.The actress, 46, recently revealed that as a teen, she was told to get emancipated from her parents, Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, in order to land more work in Hollywood.“I had gotten this part that they wanted me to basically divorce my parents so that I could work as an adult,” Hudson said while on the “Awards Chatter” podcast at the Newport Beach TV Fest earlier this month.“My mom was like, ‘No – never happening,'” she confessed.
