Travis Kelce dismisses attention narrative around Taylor Swift romance: Were having fun

Travis Kelce dismissed a narrative that he and girlfriend Taylor Swift are “trying to seek attention” by having date nights in the public eye, including their appearance at the 2025 Stanley Cup Final last month.During an appearance Tuesday on the “Bussin With The Boys” podcast, the star Chiefs tight end explained that the couple is simply “enjoying life” and that he’s trying to introduce the singer to different sports outside of the NFL.“We’re having fun with it, being a couple,” Kelce, 35, told hosts Taylor Lewan and Will Compton.“It gets thrown out there that we’re trying to seek attention now and then, and we’re just enjoying life, having fun, going to hockey games, kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world that she hasn’t really [seen]… [Stanley Cup] was fun, man.”Kelce and Swift, 35, have been spending plenty of time together this offseason as the three-time Super Bowl champion prepares for his 13th NFL season.

The 2025 season also marks the final year of the two-year, $34.25 million contract he signed last April.Unlike the past two NFL seasons, this year marks the first campaign that Swift isn’t performing her blockbuster Eras Tour, which ended last year after beginning in 2023 — the same year she and Kelce started dating.“She tried to get to as many as she could last year and she came to a lot,”  Kelce said.“We’ll have Tay representing over at Arrowhead [this season].”The 14-time Grammy winner also attended Tight End University — a week-long event for NFL tight ends to bond and train in the offseason — in Nashville, where she put on a surprise performance of “Shake It Off” at a private concert for the players and friends with Kane Brown.Kelce also reflected on the added attention and fame that came when he and Swift first got together.
