Sydney Sweeney always keeps it professional.Despite breaking off her engagement to ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino earlier this year, Sweeney, 27, “was completely present emotionally” while filming “The Housemaid” at the same time, according to director Paul Feig.She “was just up for anything,” Feig told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Wednesday, “and really didn’t bring any issues to set.”“And I know she was going through some things when this was going on — I mean, now everybody knows about her engagement falling apart and breaking off and all that,” the filmmaker explained of Sweeney.Feig recalled: “I’d say, ‘Hey, are you OK?’ and she’d go, ‘I’m fine, I’m great!’ but not defensively.”“The Housemaid,” based on Freida McFadden’s 2022 psychological thriller novel, stars Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone.
