Meghan Markle has opened up about her short-lived stint on “Deal or No Deal” in the second season of her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”Before her breakout role in “Suits,” the Duchess of Sussex starred on the NBC reality show from 2006 to 2007 alongside Chrissy Teigen as a “briefcase model.”The role entailed the actress, who was pursing a career in show business at the time, to display the luggage containing various amounts of cash for which contestants were vying.“I was thinking about how many moons ago we crossed paths and that was past life, that was good old Deal or No Deal,” Markle told Teigen in the second episode of the eight-part series.“I remember us all having to stand in line to get our lashes put in.”As the duo exchanged memories from their time of the show, Markle was simultaneously teaching the former model how to make pressed flower jewelry in her “craft barn.”Teigen then recalled how all the models had to deposit their false lashes “in a Ziploc bag” once the shoot wrapped.“I was just so happy to have health insurance,” the duchess, 44, said.“I was like, ‘I get health insurance with this job.'”“How far we’ve come,” she added.Teigen, for her part, recalled being a “backup girl” on the show.“I mean, I left the show, and then like a year or so later, you got famous,” Markle added.
