Bo Nixs wife barely breathing after watching Broncos rally over Giants

The wife of Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was on edge while watching the team’s historic 33-32 comeback win over the Giants on Sunday. The Broncos erased three shutout quarters with 33 points in the fourth behind four touchdowns from Nix to secure the win at Empower Field at Mile High.“My eyes may or may not have been closed,” Izzy Nix wrote, including an image of the quarterback that said Nix is the first player in NFL history to record two touchdowns and two passing touchdowns in one quarter.Nix and Izzy, who tied the knot in July 2022, announced they are expecting their first child in an Instagram post earlier this month. They met while enrolled at Auburn, where Nix played quarterback from 2019-21, before spending two seasons at Oregon.
Izzy was a cheerleader for the Tigers.Izzy shared a photo of the couple on the field after the game and set the post to The Script’s song “Breakeven,” highlighting the lyrics, “I’m still alive but I’m barely breathing.”She added, “Go Broncos!!!!!” Nix, who was Denver’s 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was brilliant in Sunday’s last-second victory over the Giants. The quarterback connected with Marvin Mims Jr.for a 29-yard gain and then Courtland Sutton for a 22-yard gain on Denver’s final possession to set up Wil Lutz’s 39-yard game-winning kick to secure the Broncos’ fourth straight victory.Nix was in disbelief afterwards.“I don’t even know how we scored 33 points in a quarter, that’s kind of insane,” he said.
“It’s just whatever we had to get done, we did it … By any means necessary.”Nix had a message for Broncos fans who darted to the exits as Denver trailed 19-0 and 26-8.“I felt bad for the people who left early,” he said afterwards.Denver set a record for most points in NFL history in the fourth quarter by a team that had been shut out through the first three quarters. The Broncos (5-2) play the Cowboys (3-3-1) in Denver on Sunday....
