Intrigue skyrocketed even further after her 2024 trial was declared a mistrial.In her summer retrial, Read was acquitted of all charges except operating under the influence of alcohol.She received a lenient sentence of just one year of probation, much to the relief of her rabid fanbase.When O’Keefe died, Read’s 2021 Lexus LX 570 was towed to the Canton Police Department garage as evidence.
