Israel kills top Hamas commander Raad Saad with IDF strike in Gaza City, officials say

A top Hamas military commander was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza Saturday, Israeli officials confirmed.The Israeli Defense Forces targeted Raad Saad, a senior commander with the terror group, while in his car, according to military sources, the Jerusalem Post reported.The IDF said Saad had been involved in efforts to “restore and manufacture the group’s weapons.”Saad was killed along with three others while driving on the Rashid coastal road, an Israeli official said, the Times of Israel reported.It is the latest flare-up inside Gaza since the signing of a peace deal on Oct.9.Israel did not inform the Trump Administration in advance of the strike, Axios reported, citing an Israeli official.
