Cam Ward ready for new Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to get on my ass

Cam Ward wants to be coached hard.Coming off a promising rookie season, Ward comes into Year 2 with new voices in his ear, as Robert Saleh takes over as head coach and Brian Daboll jumps in at the offensive coordinator spot.Neither is afraid to speak their feelings, and Ward is ready for it –– especially when it’s coming from the former Giants head coach who played a key role in Josh Allen’s during the development.“I like that he is a fiery coach,” Ward said of Daboll, according to Titans.com.
“He is going to get on my ass when he needs to, and he is going to hold me to a high standard.And that’s the standard I want to be held to.”Ward added that Daboll is “going to let me know the real,” hoping to hear the positive and negative aspects of his game.
Daboll is regarded as a quarterback guru based on his work with Allen and a partial season with Jaxson Dart in New York.The Giants, while under Daboll, attempted to trade up to draft Ward in 2025, but Tennessee rebuffed negotiations, opting to hold onto the No.1 pick and draft the QB out of Miami.Ward was one of the lone Titans’ bright spots in a 4-13 season while Daboll was cut loose by the Giants midseason.Instead, Daboll was a leading voice in the Giants’ move to land Dart later in the draft, with the No.
