13,000 boxes of doughnut dozens up for grabs during Krispy Kremes Friday the 13th giveaway

This year, Friday the 13th is your lucky day.To sweeten the doom date, Krispy Kreme is giving away 13,000 boxes of Original Glazed dozens.The 13,000 free dozens of doughnnuts will be given to randomly selected guests at participating locations throughout the day on Friday, Feb.13.But guests won’t just be given a box upon arrival — the free boxes will be in the form of a coupon that guests can redeem with any purchase for 13 days, starting Sunday, Feb.

15.Anyone going into the doughnut shop on Friday the 13th for a shot to get a free box will still be able to snag the doughnuts featured in Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s Day Collection.The four all-new Valentine’s Day-themed doughnuts are available in a custom Valentine’s Day-themed dozen box.It features the “I Love You a Choco-Lot Doughnut,” an unglazed heart doughnut filled with chocolate-flavored Kreme, dipped in red vanilla-flavored icing, and topped with a chocolate icing ribbon and bow.The “Teddy Bear Cookies & Kreme Doughnut” is also an unglazed heart doughnut, this time filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with a white chocolate bear face.Similarly, there’s the “You’re Berry Sweet Doughnut,” an unglazed heart doughnut filled with Kreme, dipped in strawberry-flavored icing, topped with a red vanilla-flavored drizzle and an “XOXO” sugar piece.The last in the bunch is the “Sprinkled with Love Doughnut,” an Original Glazed doughnut piped with buttercream-flavored frosting and heart sprinkles.“There are so many ways to show love on Valentine’s Day, not just one person, but to everyone who makes your life a little brighter,” Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer, said in a statement....
