Amanda Peet Says Husband Dated Her Celeb Doppelgnger When They Were On A Mutual' Break

LOADINGERROR LOADINGAmanda Peet is opening up about her husband David Benioff’s surprisingly intimate history with her famous doppelgänger, Lake Bell.Appearing on Dax Shepherd’s “Armchair Expert” podcast this week, the “Your Friends & Neighbors” actor revealed that Benioff dated Bell while he and and his now-wife were on a nine-month hiatus from their relationship.

Advertisement “It was a mutual breakup.I wanted to have a baby so badly, I was 31,” Peet, now 54, explained.

“So I was really looking down the barrel of...it was rough.

Lake!’ And I was like, ‘This actually can’t be happening,’” she recalled.“It was literally within 24 hours of finding out.” Peet did not identify the restaurant patron who had mistaken her for Bell, noting only that he was a fellow actor.
