Awards season is officially in full swing, and the road to the 2026 Academy Awards has been months in the making.The race began taking shape in September with fall festival premieres at Venice, Telluride and Toronto, before intensifying in January at the Golden Globes, where films like Sinners, One Battle After Another, and Hamnet emerged as early standouts.
