on Monday launched the PAS7700, an active-active all-flash NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) storage system in the Philippines, poised to help accelerate local enterprises’ data-intensive technology initiatives.The company said that amid local enterprises’ digital transformation initiatives and increasing adoption of data-intensive technologies such as AI and analytics, storage has become imperative to support mission-critical operations.

This has prompted organizations to place greater emphasis on performance, service continuity, and long-term stability when evaluating enterprise storage infrastructure.With the launch of PAS7700, it is addressing the evolving storage requirements of enterprises, Bie-i Chu, executive vice president of Synology NAS (Network-Attached Storage) group said in a statement.

“After a year of extensive real-world validation through our enterprise proof-of-concept program, PAS7700 is field-proven to deliver high reliability and performance, while helping customers lower total cost of ownership (TCO).” PAS7700 is suited for industries where storage performance is critical to operations, such as game development, semiconductor design, engineering consulting, and manufacturing.It is also designed for teams handling large files, virtual machines, and databases, among others.
