Jeffrey Sutorius Regains Control of Dash Berlin, Hints at Future of the Iconic Trance Project

After nearly a decade of legal battles, DJ and producer Jeffrey Sutorius plans to return as the frontman of the legendary trance project, Dash Berlin.Having originally left the band in 2018, Sutorius became embroiled in a years-long trademark battle over the use of the band’s name, which he shared with former partners Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg.
After regaining control of the name in 2019, Sutorius lost the title once again and began touring and producing tracks under his legal name after 2021.However, after a January 2026 decision by the Court of Appeals in The Hague (case ref: IEF 23235), Sutorius legally regained the right to perform under the stage name of Dash Berlin.
