And now there are three.The signing of Odell Beckham Jr.on Monday is the big news of the day for the Giants, but not the only news of the day.They held a tryout with four wide receivers and ended up adding three of them to their roster.In addition to Beckham, the Giants also signed Braxton Berrios and JuJu Smith-Schuster, fortifying a position by adding experienced NFL talent — albeit it older talent.Beckham, of course, is the marquee name, given his history with the Giants as their 2014 first-round draft pick and the subsequent rise and fall in his five years in blue.Beckham, 33, participated in a high-profile tryout alongside three other NFL veterans: Smith-Schuster, Berrios and Anthony Miller.It makes sense that Berrios, 30, will fill the void created last Friday when Gunner Olszewski went down in practice to a torn right Achilles tendon.

That took from the Giants their 2025 kick returner.Berrios played in four games last season for the Texans.He had his best success in the league with the Jets from 2019-22 as a slot receiver and kick returner.He has averaged 11.3 yards on 100 career punt returns and 24.9 yards on 91 career kickoff returns.Smith-Schuster, has familiarity with the Giants’ new offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy, having worked with Nagy with the Chiefs in 2022 and again in 2024 and 2025.In 17 games last season, Smith-Schuster had 33 receptions for 345 yards and one touchdown.He was a 2017 second-round pick of the Steelers and had 481 receptions and 33 touchdowns in his nine-year career....
