And even that’s not close, with a 12-minute walk to the games.On top of that, parking passes aren’t available for purchase the day of matches and must be prepaid.For fans unwilling to open their wallets, there’s an option to park via the app ParkingWhiz.It features several high-cost options, with the cheapest running $47.73 — but that requires walking a full 2 miles to the stadium.Los Angeles officials have encouraged fans to get to the games via public transportation through its “Go Metro to World Cup” promotion. “Ride Metro bus, rail or regional transit to a direct service pick-up location near you.
No reservation needed,” the LA Metro website states. “Drive to a park-and-ride location, park your car and take a direct service bus to the stadium.Walk up or get dropped off at a location.”The city will provide bus service to the stadium from a variety of locations across the city hours before the matches.
