Weezer Launch The Gold Album With Wednesday Collaboration

Weezer have yet another self-titled album on the way, and this time, it’s gold.Their first LP since 2021’s Van Weezer and OK Human—as well as the subsequent Sznz EP series—arrives August 21 via Reprise/Warner.

Wednesday] below.The Gold Album (no relation to the ABBA classic) was produced by Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume, the producer formerly known as Kenny Beats, who says in a press release that he wanted to make “the most violent Weezer album ever.” Back in March, Weezer announced a tour that we now know to be pegged to the album.Weezer: The Gathering kicks off in September, with support from the Shins and Silversun Pickups.
