Las Vegas Energy Comes to the Lowcountry as Palma Day Club Debuts in Charleston

Charleston is officially stepping into the high-energy world of premium daytime hospitality after the official launch of Palma Day Club, a new dance venue blending a distinctive Las Vegas daytime lounge energy with classic Southern flair.Originally born in Montauk, New York, the open-air concept from Project92 Events has migrated south to offer an elevated, music-forward poolside culture.
The venue celebrated its grand opening over Memorial Day Weekend. The three-day marathon featured high-profile headliners each afternoon, ultimately concluding with an electrifying DJ set from EDM.com Class of 2022 artist ACRAZE on Sunday.
That ballyhooed launch set the tone for a summer season packed with electronic music talent including Snakehips, Two Friends, Audien, Nora En Pure, Loud Luxury, Chromeo and Dombresky, among others.Palma’s ownership describes the atmosphere as “relaxed but vibrant,” which is apropos of its roots at the laid-back Montauk Beach House.
Operating as a strictly 21+ venue, the club relies on individual event ticketing rather than traditional seasonal memberships, making the space accessible to casual visitors and dedicated EDM music fans alike.Beyond the curated sets and open-air dancefloor, the club features an upscale culinary program to match its high-end atmosphere.
Attendees can order from a premium poolside menu created in partnership with CHS Wagyu, which features high-quality items like a specialized Wagyu Smash Burger.Scroll to continue more from edm Eric Prydz Confirms Several New Pryda EPs, Including Singles ‘Mygga’ and ‘Modulation’ For groups looking for an upgraded experience, individual table reservations and private VIP cabanas accommodating up to 10 guests can be secured directly through the venue’s website.
