Exclusive | New York couple locked in savage dogfight with pet rescue over ownership of foster pups

It’s a ruff story. A New York couple is being accused of dognapping nine premier pooches — by a Westchester shelter owner — who herself is at the center of multiple complaints from previous clients. The two parties are currently locked in a vicious dogfight over eight adorable boxer-shepherd puppies and their mom. After clearing an 11-dog adoption with their landlord in their Tribeca building, Obstarczyk and Fuhr said, Smith asked minimal questions before sending over a single-page, unsigned foster agreement, according to the suit. “We went from having never met her to her wanting to give us 11 of her animals in just a few hours of time,” 45-year-old Fuhr told The Post. Nevertheless, on a freezing January morning, days later, Smith’s two...
